The Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ), a member of Feeding America®, is the leading anti-hunger and anti-poverty organization in the state. What started as a modest enterprise in the back of their founder Kathleen DiChiara’s station wagon in downtown Newark in 1975, became an incorporated non-profit in 1982 and has grown to two warehouse facilities in Hillside and Egg Harbor Township, the combined size of five football fields. These locations serve area programs and community partners – over 800 in 15 of 21 New Jersey counties.

Harvest Hope is on a mission to eliminate hunger and food insecurity in South Carolina. They rescue nutritious food from stores throughout the state and distribute it to food pantries, shelters, and soup kitchens. Harvest Hope operates programs that provide food for our most vulnerable citizens – children, seniors, and rural residents who don’t have access to grocery stores. They also run our own emergency food pantries in Greenville and Columbia where anyone in need can get a week’s supply of groceries for free.

The Central Pennsylvania Food Bank is a non-profit organization whose mission is to reduce hunger in 27 central Pennsylvania counties. By working with more than 1,300 local agencies and programs, they serve over 152,000 people in need each month.

Founded in 1904, Utah Food Bank has operated under various names but has always remained true to their mission of Fighting Hunger Statewide. 511,000 Utahns, which equates to 1 in 6 individuals, are at risk of missing a meal today. In 2020, they distributed 52.9 million pounds of food, the equivalent of 44.1 million meals, to people facing hunger across the state.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina (SHMETROLINA) strives through education, advocacy, and partnerships to eliminate hunger by the solicitation and distribution of food. SHMETROLINA has been in existence since 1981.

Jeffie's Choice: Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $2,500.00 to Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank on May 17th, 2021.

The Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank helps to provide nutritious food to over 31,000 people through their network of 152 community partners operating more than 260 food assistance programs. In 2019, the Food Bank collected and distributed over 4.2 million pounds of food and other grocery products; the equivalent of over 3.3 million meals provided to those in need.

Jeffie's Choice: Greater Chicago Food Depository

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $2,500.00 to Greater Chicago Food Depository on May 14th, 2021.

The Food Depository is part of a united community effort working to bring food, dignity and hope to their Cook County neighbors. The Greater Chicago Food Depository acts as the hub for a network of more than 700 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other programs. These programs provide food where it’s most needed.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee opened its doors in 1978 with commitment from several community leaders. The purpose of the organization is to provide a central distribution center for companies, groups, and individuals who wished to help provide food for hungry people in Middle Tennessee.

Community Food Bank of Central Alabama feeds people in need today and foster collaborative solutions to end hunger tomorrow. Together they’re feeding over 145,000 people at risk of hunger per month.

Founded in 1982, the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a nonprofit hunger relief organization that distributes donated and purchased foods through a network of more than 200 Partner Agencies in 13 counties.

Jeffie's Choice: Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $2,500.00 to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida on March 3rd, 2021.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida is a private, nonprofit organization that collects, stores and distributes donated food to more than 550 feeding partners in six Central Florida counties: Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia. Last year, with the help of numerous donors, volunteers and a caring, committed community, the food bank distributed enough food for 73 million meals to partner programs such as food pantries, soup kitchens, women’s shelters, senior centers, day care centers and Kids Cafes.

They serve 42 of Kentucky’s counties through a network of more than 225 partner agencies.

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $2,500.00 to The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri on February 25th, 2021.

The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri is a regional disaster and hunger relief network that acquires and distributes millions of pounds of food annually to partner agencies across a 32-county area.

As a member of Feeding America, The Food Bank is able to work with manufacturers, wholesalers, processors, growers, retailers and restaurants to secure donations and food at reduced costs.

Hoosier Hills Food Bank is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides over four million pounds of food annually to over 100 other non-profits serving people with low incomes and personal challenges, children, and seniors. HHFB member agencies serve an estimated 7,500 people each week and 25,800 individuals annually.

More than 1.1 million people in the 18 southeast Texas counties served by Houston Food Bank are considered food insecure, meaning they lack consistent access to enough nutritious food to fuel a healthy life. In order to address this issue, the Houston Food Bank distributes food and other essentials to those in need through a network of 1,500 community partners.
