Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $2,500.00 to North Texas Food Bank on May 5th, 2022.

The North Texas Food Bank is a certified member of and the eighth largest organization in the Feeding America Food Bank Network. Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization, solicits food and grocery products from national suppliers, distributes them through more than 200 food banks and provides food banks with operational support. It also educates the public and government officials about the ongoing problem of hunger.

Jeffie's Choice: Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $2,500.00 to Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank on April 26th, 2022.

The Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank helps to provide nutritious food to over 31,000 people through our network of 152 community partners operating more than 260 food assistance programs. In 2020, the Food Bank collected and distributed over 4.4 million pounds of food and other grocery products; the equivalent of over 3.7 million meals provided to those in need.

Jeffie's Choice: Greater Chicago Food Depository

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $2,500.00 to Greater Chicago Food Depository on April 8th, 2022.

The Food Depository is part of a united community effort working to bring food, dignity and hope to our Cook County neighbors. They act as the hub for a network of more than 700 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other programs. These programs provide food where it’s most needed. They also address the root causes of hunger. Public benefits outreach and job training programs offer support for our neighbors to overcome poverty.

Jeffie's Choice: Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $2,500.00 to Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina on April 8th, 2022.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina strives through education, advocacy, and partnerships to eliminate hunger by the solicitation and distribution of food. They provide a regional distribution warehouse and branches that supply food and grocery items to charitable agencies that assist people in need and serve a total of 24 counties.

Jeffie's Choice: Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $2,500.00 to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida on February 2nd, 2022.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida is a private, nonprofit organization that collects, stores and distributes donated food to more than 550 feeding partners in six Central Florida counties: Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia.

Jeffie's Choice: Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $2,500.00 to Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank on January 12th, 2022.

The Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank was formed in 1982 by a group of community leaders who made a commitment to provide emergency food to our neighbors in need. Today, the Foodbank provides food and other essential items to member hunger-relief programs in eight Northeast Ohio counties: Carroll, Holmes, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas and Wayne.

Jeffie's Choice: Central Illinois Foodbank

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $3,000.00 to Central Illinois Foodbank on January 10th, 2022.

Central Illinois Foodbank has a variety of programs to serve our 21 county service area. They provide a regional distribution warehouse and branches that supply food and grocery items to charitable agencies that assist people in need. Central Illinois Foodbank provides training, technical assistance and hunger education to their partner agencies.

Jeffie's Choice: Community Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Indiana

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $4,000.00 to Community Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Indiana on January 10th, 2022.

Community Harvest Food Bank was established in 1983 in response to the closure of the International Harvester plant that sent tens of thousands into unemployment. Social service agencies, churches, and faith-based organizations were overwhelmed with requests for assistance and people were finding it difficult to feed their families.

Jeffie's Choice: Food Bank of Central New York

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $2,500.00 to Food Bank of Central New York on January 7th, 2022.

Food Bank of Central New York serves as the main food distribution hub for hundreds of partner agencies that comprise the emergency food network in our eleven county service region across central and northern New York. The Food Bank provides more than 22.5 million pounds of food – the equivalent of 18.7 million meals – to hungry families, children, and elderly every year.

Jeffie's Choice: Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $4,000.00 to Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee on January 5th, 2022.

Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee, a member of Feeding America, has worked to compassionately feed people facing hunger since 1982. In FY20, Second Harvest distributed 21 million pounds of food across 18 East Tennessee counties. Through feeding programs and 630+ nonprofit partners, Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee provides food to more than 134,000 children, adults and seniors each month.

Jeffie's Choice: San Antonio Food Bank

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $3,000.00 to San Antonio Food Bank on January 4th, 2022.

The San Antonio Food Bank takes pride in fighting hunger, feeding hope in their 29 county service area. They believe that no child should go to bed hungry, adults should not have to choose between a hot meal and utilities, nor a senior sacrifice medical care for the sake of a meal.

Jeffie's Choice: Community Food Bank of Central Alabama

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $1,500.00 to Community Food Bank of Central Alabama on January 4th, 2022.

Community Food Bank of Central Alabama supplies millions of meals per year to over 250 Partner Agencies, like food pantries, shelters, and children’s programs in 12 counties across Central Alabama. Their aim is to ensure people in need can access emergency food near where they live.

What started out as a small food rescue organization operating out of a Subaru, 30+ years later, is an innovative, impactful and collaborative organization distributing millions of pounds of food a year to those in need.

Philabundance is a proud member of Feeding America, a nationwide network of food banks leading the fight against hunger in the United States.

Jeffie's Choice: The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $3,000.00 to The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri on December 29th, 2021.

The Food Bank partners with more than 145 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other agencies to ensure food gets into the hands of those who need it most. The Food Bank also works with more than 180 schools to help students receive nutritious food. We provide food at no charge to our partners, which means hunger-relief organizations across our service area can afford to operate.
