The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri is a regional disaster and hunger relief network that acquires and distributes millions of pounds of food annually to partner agencies across a 32-county area. As a member of Feeding America, The Food Bank is able to work with manufacturers, wholesalers, processors, growers, retailers and restaurants to secure donations and food at reduced costs.

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $3,500.00 to Second Harvest Food Bank - Feeding South Louisiana on January 20th, 2023.

Second Harvest Food Bank leads the fight against hunger in South Louisiana by providing food access, advocacy, education, and disaster response. Second Harvest provides food and support to 700+ community partners and programs across 23 parishes. Their staff and volunteers distribute the equivalent of more than 32 million meals to 210,000+ people a year. 

Jeffie's Choice: Central Pennsylvania Food Bank

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $2,500.00 to Central Pennsylvania Food Bank on January 19th, 2023.

The Central Pennsylvania Food Bank is a nonprofit organization committed to ending hunger in 27 counties across central Pennsylvania. By working with more than 1,100 local agencies and programs, they serve more than 144,000 people in need each month through their two Healthy Food Hubs, located in Harrisburg and Williamsport.

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $1,000.00 to Wiregrass Area Food Bank on January 18th, 2023.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina strives through education, advocacy, and partnerships to eliminate hunger by the solicitation and distribution of food. They provide a regional distribution warehouse and branches that supply food and grocery items to charitable agencies that assist people in need. Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina provides training, technical assistance and hunger education to their partner agencies.

Jeffie's Choice: Golden Harvest Food Bank

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $2,500.00 to Golden Harvest Food Bank on September 7th, 2022.

Founded in 1982, Golden Harvest Food Bank works to create a safety net of partner agencies, programs, and direct services to meet the needs of our neighbors who struggle with hunger across our 25-county service area. With a network of over 300 partner agencies and programs, they can get nutritious meals directly into the hands of those in need through agencies embedded in their communities.

Jeffie's Choice: North Texas Food Bank

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $2,500.00 to North Texas Food Bank on May 5th, 2022.

The North Texas Food Bank is a certified member of and the eighth largest organization in the Feeding America Food Bank Network. Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization, solicits food and grocery products from national suppliers, distributes them through more than 200 food banks and provides food banks with operational support. It also educates the public and government officials about the ongoing problem of hunger.

Jeffie's Choice: Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $2,500.00 to Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank on April 26th, 2022.

The Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank helps to provide nutritious food to over 31,000 people through our network of 152 community partners operating more than 260 food assistance programs. In 2020, the Food Bank collected and distributed over 4.4 million pounds of food and other grocery products; the equivalent of over 3.7 million meals provided to those in need.

Jeffie's Choice: Greater Chicago Food Depository

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $2,500.00 to Greater Chicago Food Depository on April 8th, 2022.

The Food Depository is part of a united community effort working to bring food, dignity and hope to our Cook County neighbors. They act as the hub for a network of more than 700 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other programs. These programs provide food where it’s most needed. They also address the root causes of hunger. Public benefits outreach and job training programs offer support for our neighbors to overcome poverty.

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $2,500.00 to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida on February 2nd, 2022.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida is a private, nonprofit organization that collects, stores and distributes donated food to more than 550 feeding partners in six Central Florida counties: Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia.

Jeffie's Choice: Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $2,500.00 to Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank on January 12th, 2022.

The Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank was formed in 1982 by a group of community leaders who made a commitment to provide emergency food to our neighbors in need. Today, the Foodbank provides food and other essential items to member hunger-relief programs in eight Northeast Ohio counties: Carroll, Holmes, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas and Wayne.
