Jeffie's Choice: Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $2,500.00 to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida on February 2nd, 2023.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida is a private, nonprofit organization that collects, stores and distributes donated food to more than 625 feeding partners in seven Central Florida counties: Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Volusia and Marion. Last year, with the help of numerous donors, volunteers and a caring, committed community, the food bank distributed enough food for 81 million meals to partner programs such as food pantries, soup kitchens, women’s shelters, senior centers, day care centers and Kids Cafes.

Jeffie's Choice: Wiregrass Area Food Bank

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $3,500.00 to Wiregrass Area Food Bank on February 1st, 2023.

The Wiregrass Area Food Bank is a non-profit hunger relief charity that solicits and collects donated food. The Food Bank then distributes this food to agencies feeding the needy in a six-county service area that includes Houston, Henry, Dale, Geneva, Barbour, and Coffee counties in Alabama.

Jeffie's Choice: Roadrunner Food Bank

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $1,000.00 to Roadrunner Food Bank on January 26th, 2023.

Roadrunner Food Bank of New Mexico, a Feeding America member, is the largest non-profit dedicated to solving food insecurity in New Mexico. As a food distribution hub, they provide food to hundreds of affiliated member partners around the state including food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and regional food banks. They also distribute food through specialized programs helping children, families and seniors at schools, low-income senior housing sites, senior centers and with and through health care partnerships.

Jeffie's Choice: Midwest Food Bank of Illinois-Morton

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $4,500.00 to Midwest Food Bank of Illinois-Morton on January 24th, 2023.

Midwest Food Bank of Morton opened in 2012 as a result of the increased demand for additional food distribution within Central Illinois. Today, the 18,000 square foot warehouse continues to assist the other Illinois locations by serving nearly 30 agency partners in Tazewell with food distributions.

Jeffie's Choice: Community FoodBank of New Jersey

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $2,500.00 to Community FoodBank of New Jersey on January 20th, 2023.

Community FoodBank of New Jersey, a member of Feeding America®, is the leading anti-hunger and anti-poverty organization in the state. What started as a modest enterprise in the back of our founder Kathleen DiChiara’s station wagon in downtown Newark in 1975, became an incorporated non-profit in 1982 and has grown to two warehouse facilities in Hillside and Egg Harbor Township, the combined size of five football fields. These locations serve area programs and community partners – over 800 in 15 of 21 New Jersey counties.

Jeffie's Choice: The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $1,000.00 to The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri on January 20th, 2023.

The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri is a regional disaster and hunger relief network that acquires and distributes millions of pounds of food annually to partner agencies across a 32-county area. As a member of Feeding America, The Food Bank is able to work with manufacturers, wholesalers, processors, growers, retailers and restaurants to secure donations and food at reduced costs.

Jeffie's Choice: Second Harvest Food Bank - Feeding South Louisiana

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $3,500.00 to Second Harvest Food Bank - Feeding South Louisiana on January 20th, 2023.

Second Harvest Food Bank leads the fight against hunger in South Louisiana by providing food access, advocacy, education, and disaster response. Second Harvest provides food and support to 700+ community partners and programs across 23 parishes. Their staff and volunteers distribute the equivalent of more than 32 million meals to 210,000+ people a year. 

Jeffie's Choice: Central Pennsylvania Food Bank

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $2,500.00 to Central Pennsylvania Food Bank on January 19th, 2023.

The Central Pennsylvania Food Bank is a nonprofit organization committed to ending hunger in 27 counties across central Pennsylvania. By working with more than 1,100 local agencies and programs, they serve more than 144,000 people in need each month through their two Healthy Food Hubs, located in Harrisburg and Williamsport.

Jeffie's Choice: Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $1,000.00 to Wiregrass Area Food Bank on January 18th, 2023.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina strives through education, advocacy, and partnerships to eliminate hunger by the solicitation and distribution of food. They provide a regional distribution warehouse and branches that supply food and grocery items to charitable agencies that assist people in need. Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina provides training, technical assistance and hunger education to their partner agencies.

Jeffie's Choice: Golden Harvest Food Bank

Jeffie’s Choice, Inc., through Mariner Finance, donated $2,500.00 to Golden Harvest Food Bank on September 7th, 2022.

Founded in 1982, Golden Harvest Food Bank works to create a safety net of partner agencies, programs, and direct services to meet the needs of our neighbors who struggle with hunger across our 25-county service area. With a network of over 300 partner agencies and programs, they can get nutritious meals directly into the hands of those in need through agencies embedded in their communities.
